About Eric Knight
I am a proud native of Pueblo and am a graduate of Central High School in 1990. Upon graduation I enlisted in the US Air Force where I spent 7 years on Active Duty before joining the Air Force Reserves where I would serve another 13 years until my retirement November 9, 2010. In my time in the Air Force I was fortunate enough to deploy numerous times all over the world in support of numerous conflicts and operations as a KC-135 and C-130 Crew Chief.
When I returned to Pueblo after my active duty enlistment, I pursued a career with the Pueblo Fire Department where I have been employed since February of 2003. I promoted to the rank of Fire Engineer in 2007 and have also served as the department public information officer and fire inspector. I am very active with the Pueblo Fire Dept Honor Guard and have also served as a mentor to our new recruits.
Over the years I have been very active in the community serving as President of the Pueblo County Fair Board, Pueblo County Horse Show Superintendent, Pueblo County Shooting Sports coach, Pueblo Youth Hockey coach, State and County Junior Livestock Sale board member. I have also served as an adult advisor to a youth leadership group through Pueblo County 4H and have accompanied kids to camps and conferences from Colorado to Washington DC. I am also one of the organizers of the annual “Ice Cup” charity hockey game between Pueblo area first responders and Law Enforcement officers to raise money for the Heroes and Helpers program to provide money to children in need around the holidays. I am also currently on the Board of Directors for the Rosemount Museum.
Through all of my involvement throughout the community I feel that I have a unique perspective on Pueblo. Whatever your Real Estate needs, I am confident I can guide you through the process to make your dreams of owning a home a reality.
